Does eufy work with HomeKit? Yes, but only on a short list of models. Eufy HomeKit support covers the eufyCam S3 Pro, the Indoor Cam E30, a few older cameras and three Matter smart locks, while most of eufy’s current cameras and doorbells don’t work with Apple Home at all. No eufy camera supports Matter, so there’s no back door for the rest.
This guide lists exactly which eufy devices work with Apple Home, how each one connects, what you can and can’t do in the Home app, and how to bring the unsupported ones in anyway.
Quick answer: Partly. The eufyCam S3 Pro (with HomeBase 3), the Indoor Cam E30, the older eufyCam 2 series (with HomeBase 2) and Indoor Cam 2K models support HomeKit and HomeKit Secure Video, capped at 1080p. The eufy Smart Lock E30, E31 and C34 join Apple Home through Matter. Most other eufy cameras and doorbells, including the eufyCam S330 and Video Doorbell E340, have no HomeKit support and need a third-party bridge such as Homebridge.
Which Eufy Devices Work With HomeKit
Eufy keeps an official list of its HomeKit-compatible devices, and it’s shorter than the brand’s marketing suggests. Here’s where every product line stands.
| eufy device | Works with Apple Home? | How it connects | HomeKit Secure Video |
|---|---|---|---|
| eufyCam S3 Pro | Yes | Through HomeBase 3 | Yes (1080p) |
| Indoor Cam E30 | Yes | Direct over Wi-Fi | Yes (1080p) |
| Indoor Cam 2K and Pan & Tilt 2K (older) | Yes | Direct over Wi-Fi | Yes (1080p) |
| eufyCam 2, 2 Pro, 2C, 2C Pro (older) | Yes | Through HomeBase 2 | Yes (1080p) |
| Smart Lock E30, E31, C34 | Yes | Matter over Thread | Not applicable |
| Video Doorbell S4, Wall Light Cam S4 | Listed by eufy, not yet confirmed | Through a HomeBase | Not confirmed |
| eufyCam S330 (eufyCam 3), eufyCam S4, SoloCam range | No | Bridge only | Via Homebridge |
| Video Doorbell E340, Dual and C31 | No | Bridge only | Via Homebridge |
| Floodlight cameras | No | Bridge only | Via Homebridge |
The pattern is easy to miss: eufy’s flagship cameras aren’t always the HomeKit ones. The eufyCam S330 and the newer eufyCam S4 don’t support Apple Home, while the S3 Pro does. So if you’re buying a eufy camera for HomeKit, check the exact model name, not just the brand. If you’re open to other brands, our best HomeKit security cameras guide covers Aqara, Logitech and Eve as well.
How Eufy Connects to Apple Home

There are three official routes, depending on the device, plus a bridge for everything else.
- Direct over Wi-Fi. Indoor cameras like the Indoor Cam E30 join your Wi-Fi and pair straight to the Home app. No HomeBase is needed.
- Through a HomeBase. Battery eufyCams don’t join Wi-Fi themselves. They talk to a HomeBase, and the HomeBase presents them to Apple Home. The eufyCam S3 Pro needs HomeBase 3 (also sold as the HomeBase S380), and eufy only lists HomeKit for the eufyCam 2 series on HomeBase 2.
- Matter over Thread. Eufy’s Smart Lock E30, E31 and C34 are Matter certified. They pair to Apple Home through Matter, using Thread for the connection.
- A third-party bridge. Everything else can only reach Apple Home through community software such as Homebridge, which isn’t made or supported by eufy or Apple.
Whatever the route, you’ll want a HomePod or Apple TV set up as your home hub. It’s required for HomeKit Secure Video and remote access, and for the locks it also needs Thread, which means a HomePod mini, HomePod (2nd generation) or an Apple TV 4K with Thread. For what a hub does and which models qualify, see our guide on whether Apple HomeKit needs a hub.
Don’t count on Matter to fill the gaps for cameras. Matter 1.5 added cameras and doorbells in November 2025, but eufy hasn’t certified any camera for it, and Apple Home doesn’t support Matter cameras yet, even in iOS 27.
Eufy Doorbell HomeKit Support
This is where eufy HomeKit support is weakest. None of the eufy doorbells on the market today, including the popular Video Doorbell E340, the Dual models and the C31, works with Apple Home. Eufy itself calls the E340 and C31 non-HomeKit options built for Alexa and Google Assistant.
The one exception on paper is the new eufy Video Doorbell S4. Eufy says it works with Apple Home when connected to a HomeBase S380, with a fixed live view in the Home app, while its VR mode and OmniTrack auto-tracking stay in the eufy app. It’s a wired doorbell (16 to 24V AC) with a small backup battery, sold at $299.99 with a chime, and as of October 2026 it’s on pre-order from eufy, shipping by the end of the month.
We’d treat that eufy doorbell HomeKit support as a promise until owners confirm it works. Eufy announced the S4 and the Solar Wall Light Cam S4 with Apple Home support in January, and reviewers who bought the earlier units found no working HomeKit at launch. If a doorbell for Apple Home is what you need today, our list of the best HomeKit doorbell cameras has models with native HomeKit Secure Video.
How to Add Eufy to Apple Home
For a supported eufy camera, setup takes a few minutes:
- Update everything. Install the latest firmware on the camera and its HomeBase in the eufy Security app, and update your iPhone.
- Start the pairing. In the eufy app, open the HomeBase (or camera) settings and choose HomeKit Setup. Or open the Home app, tap +, then Add Accessory, and scan the HomeKit code on the HomeBase or camera.
- Assign a room and name. The Home app adds the camera like any other accessory.
- Turn on recording. In the camera’s settings in the Home app, choose Stream & Allow Recording for when you’re home and away. That turns on HomeKit Secure Video.
HomeKit Secure Video needs an iCloud+ plan: 50 GB covers one camera, 200 GB up to five, and 2 TB or more is unlimited, and the footage doesn’t count toward your iCloud storage (our guide to HomeKit Secure Video explains how it works). If clips don’t appear, our HomeKit Secure Video troubleshooting guide covers the usual fixes.
For a eufy smart lock, set it up in the eufy app first, then go to Lock Settings, choose Work with Matter, tap Connect to Third-party Ecosystem and start pairing. The lock’s light blinks blue, and you finish in the Home app.
For unsupported eufy cameras, the homebridge-eufy plugin (formerly homebridge-eufy-security) adds live view, doorbell presses, motion and even HomeKit Secure Video through Homebridge on an always-on computer. It requires a separate guest eufy account shared from your main one. Version 4.7.2 still works but is no longer maintained, and version 5.0, in beta since September 2026, replaces it and means re-adding your accessories.
Limitations and What to Watch For
Native eufy camera HomeKit support works well, but it isn’t the full eufy experience:
- 1080p in Apple Home. HomeKit Secure Video streams and records at 1080p, even on 4K cameras like the S3 Pro and Indoor Cam E30. iOS 27 added 4K recording, but only for cameras that support it on their side, and eufy’s haven’t been updated for it yet.
- eufy features stay in the eufy app. Pan and tilt, AI tracking, face recognition and eufy’s local video history aren’t in the Home app. Recordings on a HomeBase or microSD card can only be viewed in the eufy app.
- Two places to check. If you record to both eufy and iCloud, your clips live in two apps. Pick one as your main record so you know where to look.
- Older systems stay older. The eufyCam 2 series is only listed for HomeKit on HomeBase 2, so moving it to a newer HomeBase isn’t a safe bet for Apple Home.
- New models need confirming. For the Video Doorbell S4, Wall Light Cam S4 and the upcoming TrackLight Cam S1, check that HomeKit is working for owners before you buy for Apple Home.
- Locks don’t get Home Key. Eufy’s Matter locks lock, unlock and report status in Apple Home, but they don’t support Apple Home Key. Eufy’s Smart Lock E40 adds a camera, but only the lock part reaches Apple Home.
A bridge is still a community project: a change on eufy’s side can break it, much like the Ring setups we cover in does Ring work with HomeKit. Native support is always the safer choice.
Eufy Cameras and Locks That Work With HomeKit
If you’re buying eufy for an Apple home, these three are on eufy’s official HomeKit list and in stock on Amazon from eufy’s own store.
eufyCam S3 Pro 2-Cam Kit — Best eufy Outdoor Cameras for HomeKit

The S3 Pro is the eufy outdoor camera to buy for Apple Home: it’s on eufy’s HomeKit list, supports HomeKit Secure Video and charges itself with a built-in solar panel.
Best for: Apple Home users who want wire-free outdoor cameras with free local storage.
What stands out in real use
The built-in solar panel tops up the battery during the day, so in a spot with good sun you shouldn’t need to take the camera down to charge it often. Radar plus PIR motion detection is designed to cut false alerts, and the HomeBase 3 in the kit stores footage locally with no monthly fee. In Apple Home you get live view and HomeKit Secure Video, while face recognition and 4K playback stay in the eufy app.
Key specs
- 4K video, 135-degree field of view, color night vision
- Built-in solar panel and rechargeable battery, IP67
- HomeBase 3 included: 16GB built in, expandable storage
- Apple Home (HomeKit Secure Video at 1080p), Alexa, Google Assistant
Pros
- On eufy’s official HomeKit list, with HomeKit Secure Video
- Solar charging means little battery maintenance
- Free local storage on the HomeBase
- Radar motion detection reduces false alerts
Cons
- Expensive as a kit
- 1080p in Apple Home
- Only works with HomeBase 3
Installation and compatibility notes
The cameras connect to the HomeBase 3, not your Wi-Fi, so place the HomeBase near your router and within range of the cameras. Add the HomeBase to Apple Home and the cameras come with it. HomeKit Secure Video needs a home hub and an iCloud+ plan.
Price: ~$550 (for a 2-camera kit with HomeBase 3)
eufy Indoor Cam E30 — Best eufy Indoor Camera for HomeKit

The E30 is the cheapest way into eufy HomeKit support: a 4K indoor camera that pairs straight to the Home app with no HomeBase.
Best for: Apple Home users who want an affordable indoor or pet camera with HomeKit Secure Video.
What stands out in real use
It pairs directly to Apple Home and records with HomeKit Secure Video, so it fits into an Apple home like any native HomeKit camera. In the eufy app it adds 360-degree pan and tilt, person and pet tracking and 4K recording to a microSD card, which makes it a capable pet camera when you’re away.
Key specs
- 4K video, 125-degree field of view, 360-degree pan
- 2.4GHz Wi-Fi
- microSD card slot (card sold separately)
- Apple Home (HomeKit Secure Video at 1080p), Alexa, Google Assistant
Pros
- Native HomeKit Secure Video at a low price
- No HomeBase needed
- Free local recording on microSD
- Pan, tilt and tracking in the eufy app
Cons
- Pan, tilt and tracking aren’t available in Apple Home
- 1080p in Apple Home
- 2.4GHz Wi-Fi only
Installation and compatibility notes
Place it where your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi is strong. Pair it in the Home app by scanning its HomeKit code, then use the eufy app for pan, tilt and tracking settings.
Price: ~$70
eufy Smart Lock C34 — Best eufy Lock for Apple Home

The C34 is eufy’s most affordable lock on its HomeKit list. It joins Apple Home through Matter, so you can lock, unlock and check it from the Home app and with Siri.
Best for: Apple Home users who want a keypad deadbolt that works with Siri and HomeKit automations.
What stands out in real use
Built-in Wi-Fi handles the eufy app, so you don’t need a eufy bridge, and Matter over Thread brings the lock into Apple Home for scenes and automations such as locking up when everyone leaves. The touchscreen keypad and a physical key give everyone a way in without a phone.
Key specs
- Keypad, app and physical key entry
- 8x AA batteries
- Built-in Wi-Fi plus Matter over Thread
- Apple Home, Alexa, Google Home, SmartThings
Pros
- Low price for a Matter lock
- Works with every major smart home platform
- No subscription and no eufy bridge needed
Cons
- No Apple Home Key
- No fingerprint reader (the E31 adds one)
- Apple Home needs a Thread-capable home hub
Installation and compatibility notes
It replaces a standard deadbolt. Set it up in the eufy app first, then pair it to Apple Home through Work with Matter. You’ll need a HomePod mini, HomePod (2nd generation) or an Apple TV 4K with Thread as your home hub.
Price: ~$80

The Bottom Line
So, does eufy work with HomeKit? For a handful of models, yes, and well: the eufyCam S3 Pro and Indoor Cam E30 give you native eufy Apple Home support with HomeKit Secure Video, and the E30, E31 and C34 locks join through Matter. For most other eufy cameras and almost every eufy doorbell, there’s no official HomeKit, and a Homebridge bridge is the only way in. If Apple Home matters to you, buy from eufy’s official HomeKit list, check the model name twice and expect 1080p in the Home app.
Does eufy work with HomeKit?
Yes, but only on specific models. The eufyCam S3 Pro, Indoor Cam E30, older eufyCam 2 series and Indoor Cam 2K models support HomeKit and HomeKit Secure Video, and the eufy Smart Lock E30, E31 and C34 join Apple Home through Matter. Most other eufy cameras and doorbells don’t.
Do eufy doorbells work with HomeKit?
Not the current ones. The Video Doorbell E340, Dual models and C31 have no HomeKit support. Eufy lists the new Video Doorbell S4 as working with Apple Home through a HomeBase S380, but it’s on pre-order and owners haven’t confirmed it yet.
Does eufy support HomeKit Secure Video?
Yes, on the cameras that support HomeKit. HomeKit Secure Video records at 1080p in Apple Home, needs a HomePod or Apple TV as a home hub, and needs an iCloud+ plan.
Do I need a HomeBase for eufy HomeKit?
It depends on the camera. The eufyCam S3 Pro needs HomeBase 3 and the eufyCam 2 series needs HomeBase 2, while the Indoor Cam E30 and Indoor Cam 2K models pair directly over Wi-Fi.
Can I add unsupported eufy cameras to Apple Home?
Yes, with a third-party bridge. The homebridge-eufy plugin for Homebridge adds live view, doorbell presses, motion and HomeKit Secure Video, but it’s a community project that eufy doesn’t support, and it needs a separate guest eufy account.
